A Pivotal Year

Yesterday evening Martha and I celebrated twenty years of knowing each other. We originally hoped to locate all the people that we knew from the Grant Singles group of 1991. My wife managed to track down quite a few from that exceptional group and quite a few showed up for our twenty year celebration party. The Grant Singles was a group of people who literally saved my life. Many of us were going through a painful life transition and we needed to be with others who were essentially in the same boat. The bonds of friendship we formed during that year were some of the closest that I ever remember. It was great to see old friends from Grant Singles as well as new friends that Martha and I had gathered on other life journeys. Marha and I thank all that attenede the celebration frm the bottom of our hearts.
